  • Thomas was a distant cousin of mine through his mother's Paddon family; I'm happy to be contacted by researchers.
Thomas was born after his father, also Thomas, died in an accident in 1891. His mother Mary was around seven months' pregnant and had two other children, Alexander and Mary Constance. Mary married Joseph Burrell in 1896 and had six further children.
