    • Perenara Rewi was the son of Rewi Puhi and Hemo Rewi Puhi. AWMM
    • According to his attestation upon recruitment (given 23rd May 1916), he was born on Motukaraka and was 24 years old at enlistment (though this doesn't match the age on his grave stone).
