  • Husband first of Margaret Mary (nee Carr), they married in England in 1941. Their 4 daughters; Stephanie born 1942, Penelope and Davina twins born 1945 and Celia born 1953.

    He later remarried, his second wife was Janet, their children Felicity and Simon, and sons from Janet's first marriage Malcolm and David.

    He served with the RAF 1939-1943 and with the RNZAF from 1944 - 1945
