    • Archibald Harper was the son of Robert and Elizabeth Harper, of Dannevirke, New Zealand. AWMM
    • I see there is no record of Archibald's birth. I can add he was born in 1917. His older brother Robert was born in 1913, then his sister Jean in 1915, Arch in 1917 and my father John in 1918. I don't know his actual birth date though. Public - Robyn Nita Faire (nee Harper) - Other relative - 8 November 2018 - Family Records

  • Archibald was sent home from war and died at the young age of 27 on Christmas eve 1944. His death certificate said he died from Myocarditis and Diphtheria. He will not be forgotten. His two brothers returned; Robert Ainslie Harper was awarded the distinguished Flying cross. His other brother, (my father) was John Ainslie Harper. (both died in 1990)
