  • Billy, 20 years lost...My heart still breaks like it was only yesterday! We have missed so so much together as you have with family and friends - life is so unfair, so undeserved loss of life.
You, my big brother will always be, my love for you will never tether. I miss you so so much. Love always. 💔

  • 25 April 2000 - ANZAC Day - Turn of the Century! WOW! For a Man not receptive to public attention - you did it Big Billy. I will never forget that sad night - receiving the call from Marilyn. Gilly was in Iraq awaiting your arrival that never came. The tributes that flowed of a man so funny, hardworking and dedicated to family, friends and work were heart warming. From stories of you as a child acting like a soldier (even back then) through to You preferring to sleep on the ground in East Timor like the rest of the Coy even though you had the opportunity to sleep on a stretcher. True soldier. You will never be forgotten Billy. You live on in your girls and grandsons - handsome little men. So glad they take after their Nana in looks lol... I had to throw that in as that's the relationship we had - banter and respect. RIP Billy, God Bless & ONWARD xo
