  • Enlisted in the RNZAF 20 May 2003 as an Aircraft Mechanic

    On graduation from Basic and Trade training he was posted to Ohakea, initially as an Aircraft Mechanic, then later as an Aircraft Technician serving at Maintenance Support Squadron and No.3 Squadron.

    He served operationally with No. 3 Squadron in Timor Leste (October 2007 – January 2008) as an Aircraft Technician

    He was selected for Helicopter Crewman training, commencing 10 February 2009 and was awarded a Helicopter Crewman brevet on 7 August 2009, attached as a Helicopter Crewman with No.3 Squadron on the UH-1H Iroquois.

    Killed whilst flying to the ANZAC ceremonies in Wellington

    A full military service was held at the Royal New Zealand Air Force Base, Ohakea on the 29 April 2009 AWMM
