    Two sons, brothers James Cleaver (22885) and Frank K. Cleaver (23932) served in WW2.

    He enlisted twice and was assigned two service numbers, the first time he served briefly and was discharged for personal reasons in 1940.

    He is buried in Morrinsville. AWMM
