  • Koro Ben was a humble man, he didn’t want to be remembered as a hero. He was just a man doing his job. He was excellent at that job and he trained men to parachute from planes. You couldn’t get better than he. Koro Ben spoke softly of his time during the war, and he was pained by his actions. Many of the soldiers were. Regrets that he spoke of later in life. He was bright, intelligent, strong and humble. I will always tell your story Koro Ben. I was carry the tales you shared with me for the rest of my days.
