  • Bert Gibbs, was my Grandfather though I called him "Grumpy" I was his "little grumpy" he was a character in life and was very proud to be fighting for New Zealand. Once he said he got told off by the English for stealing chickens to feed the Kiwi's who he felt were not getting their fair share of the food.
