  • Jim was my Great Uncle. He did not speak much about the war until his later years. We have a book that was written by his fellow escapee about his escape. He spoke of how malnourished they were and how his teeth had to be taken out at the end of the war as they had been ruined. We remember him every ANZAC Day.
