  • met my father when i was about 31 years old...................never seen him before...............my mother told me the last time he saw me was in ALBERT PARK,...when i was 3 months old...his sister..NANCY CURTIS,.was my god mother.......she asked me to meet him,......as he was enquireing about me,...............i went to see him at ..RANFURLY VETERANS HOME,.....at three kings/auckland.....one winters night..........kept in touch , until he died in the point chevalier mental home..........then called ''THE WHAU''.............as it was built near or on the '' WHAU CREEK''........he was sent there after a drinking bout at the rest home............and played up...............died in a drug inducted stupour days later................was told this,.....after a friend who worked there approached me the day day before he died..........my father was buried by the salvation army...........at waik
