  • Dear Pop
I was teaching my class about Anzac Day and asking if they had any relatives who had fought in a war. This reminded me of you and made me wonder about your service to NZ. I sadly never got to meet you but you have always been spoken of fondly by many. I will share your story with my class and we will remember you this Anzac Day and many to come.

  • Dad used to say how much you would’ve spoiled all these granddaughters that you had.
He talked about you often and I always felt you were looking after me. When Dad got sick, I asked him to take over from you!
I hope it was good to catch up with him.
Tell him ‘aye up, Da’, from me.
    Love, Jaimee

  • Wish I had the chance to meet you. I hope you and Gran would have been proud of the family you created. Lots of great grandchildren, all proud to bare the Provan name.

    RIP granddad x
