  • I came across (and hold) two POW postcards from the two brothers Buzz & Brick from Germany when they were both being held in VIIB. But have not managed to find out much information about them. The postcards are dated 12th December 42 and 29th April 43 and written to Alice Kenny

  • Buzz was my uncle, married to my aunt Jessie (née McVay) and lived at Haumoana. He was a very tall, lovely man and his daughter was called Diana, or Dinah. We kids sat up on top of the garage and ate feijoas. It was a great day!
