    Embarked Wellington, 5 November 1916; disembarked Devonport, England, 29 January 1917, and marched in to Reserve Group, Sling Camp.
    Proceeded overseas to France, 1 March 1917; posted to 1st Bn, Canterbury Infantry Regiment, in the field, 25 May 1917.
    Evacuated to hospital, sick, 3 June 1917; rejoined Bn, 4 June 1917 (no further details recorded).
    Killed in action, 12 October 1917.
