    Married on 25 March 1943, at Helwan, Egypt.

    Mick returned to New Zealand in May 1944 on furlough and then returned to the Middle East.

    After the war he joined the Territorials, rising to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and earning the Efficiency Medal. AWMM
