    • John was killed on the day of his his 33rd birthday. His dog Rowdy back home in Riverton howled for 3 days and the family knew then he had been killed long before the official news came. The sad part for his parents, did Rowdy sense his master lying wounded and dying for three days or did he start howling at the moment of death ?. Public - Pamela Anne - Other Relative - 2 March 2015 - Oral history from my Grandfather, Albert Alexander Boniface, John`s brother and as told by his other siblings.
