  • Harry Wilson was the son of James Edward and Margaret Wilson, of Clevedon, Auckland, New Zealand.

    Brother of Sergeant Robert Douglas Wilson (13/154), who died of wounds at Gallipoli on 9 August 1915.

    According to the Official History of the New Zealand Machine Gun Corps, Private Wilson was killed on 4 October 1917, and buried near Gravenstrafel (Luxford 1923).

    Date of death may have been 4 October or 5 October 1917. AWMM
