  • My Poem tribute to my Loving Father Ted Baker Heartfelt Honour I prominsed my Father I would march on ANZAC Day ....in his honour It is a Heartfelt Honour A Brave Soldier he became in 1940 he was a farmhand...a young man In the 9th Heavy Regiment...in Italy He braved the war...in Sherman tanks He never talked about it much...WWII but I saw the emotion in his eyes Like many other War Veterans.... My Father loyaly marched on ANZAC Day ...proudly wearing his medals of Valour... They are his military Heart and Soul They are a dedication to comrades They are about respect for his country I promised my Father....
