    Wounded in action (date not recorded); admitted to NZ General Hospital, Cairo, 16 August 1915 (gun shot wound, shoulder); transferred to England, 18 August 1915, and admitted to New End Hospital, Hampstead, 30 August 1915; attached to NZ Command Depot, Grey Towers, 12 January 1916.
    Rejoined Bn, Armentieres, France, 16 May 1916.
    Wounded in action, 13 June 1916 (gun shot wound, abdomen); died of wounds, No 2 South Midlands Division Field Ambulance, 14 June 1916.
