  • The immediate elder brother to my grandmother Elizabeth Lavinia Smith (nee Wilton.) She spoke of you seldom but with love when she did and kept your photo on the wall of the big house in Russell Street Waihi until she and her husband moved to the Waihi Beach. She never said where you were laid to rest and I wonder if she knew. We do now and have walk those lands to remember you for her sake.
