  • Our journey into learning about the Whaanga family and Ihaka's descendants is only just beginning. Trying to find out as much as I can to tell my daughter Leilani who is presently 14 years of age. As a teenager living in Australia, it is important for her to learn about this side of her heritage and to be proud of where she comes from.
