  • Parents named Henry Charles Bingham Muntz and Ruby Mabel (nee Reid).

    After alledging loss of his false teeth (when they were in his pocket) following a coal face falling on him, he returned to Stalag VIIIB until fitted with a new set of teeth and then was put to work in a stone quarry until he had an accident when he was hospitalised for three months and only returned to Stalag 344 just before the order came through for the March.

    After recovering in England he met and married Betty Irene Whiteside born 21 Oct 1921, married 15 June 1945.

    Frank RTNZ on Rangitikei departed 25 June 1945 arriving Wellington 2 Sep 1945. Discharged as Corporal 25 Jan 1946. AWMM
