      He is remembered in Kent, England on the Ightham War Memorial. The war memorial takes the form of two brass plaques within St. Peter’s Church, Fen Pond Road, Ightham, Kent.
      The village memorial is to be found at a crossroads traffic islands in Ightham and takes the form of a Celtic cross mounted on a tapered shaft standing on a square base; the inscriptions are to be found on the sides of the plinth.   • his name was Harry, not Henry and it is correct on the memorial , we visited and saw it. His father was William Bottle and he was on a farming exchange in NZ when the war broke out. Actually from Kent, England. Have a photo if you want it. He was my Great Uncle.
