  • Husband of Barbara, father of Bronwyn, Meredith, and Nicola. Ray Richards was a member of the Fleet Air Arm Association, formed in 1948, that had 200 members. The Association disbanded in June 2012.

    Richards was awarded the New Zealand Booksellers' Lifetime Achievement Award in 2004. He was made an ONZM in 2006 for his contribution to New Zealand publishing. AWMM
