Clifford Rowland was the father of Kenneth Rowland, of 76 O'Neill St., Ponsonby, Auckland, New Zealand.

Clifford Rowland's wife Jeanne Rowland (nee Collins) had one son Kenneth Dudley Rowland born on the 11 May 1916, Jeanne then tragically passed away on the 23rd February 1918 most likely due to the flu epidemic. Her son was adopted by her dear friend Belinda and her husband William Henry Clayton, their baby became Kenneth Rowland Clayton and was raised alongside five other children of Belinda and William Clayton.
