  • Jack married Audrey Pezaro in May 1948, and they had three children: Graham , Russell and Lynda.

Jack Jaffe worked in his father's business "Jaffe Menswear" in Queen Street, Auckland, for many years after the war. He had begun work there before the War, much to his chagrin, as he had preferred to go to University to study Accountancy, but this was not economically viable in the late 1930s.

Jack and Audrey were Eastern Suburbs identities.

Jack had the Mission Bay TAB license for nearly 30 years and was a Member of the Mission Bay Bowls Club and he served on the Board of the Eastern Secondary Schools. He was also a JP, and Traffic Magistrate.

He also served on numerous Boards of Jewish communal organisations.

Jack left the family menswear business in the 1960s and ran a number of businesses, including "Mr Chips" franchise.
