  • Lance Corporal Alison was the son of Duncan Donald Tobias Alison and Emma Alison, 47 King Edward Parade, Devonport, Auckland.

    Charles Alison was one of three brothers who enlisted to fight in World War I. Charles Frederick Alison 23940, Alfred Edward Alison 13/2153 and Harold Alexander Alison 24862.
