  • Enlisted first 19 September 1942 for the Royal New Zealand Air Force and then 4 November 1944 he transferred to the Army.

    He served overseas service in Guadalcanal in 1943 with 54 RDF Unit and after transfer to the army served in Italy in 1945. AWMM
