  • Hi. Just taking this opportunity while at the Auckland Museum to remember my great uncle William (my mother was his elder sisters oldest daughter), always referred by her as Martyn Seed. Although I know he died in England of the Spanish Flu as I grew up knowing his Mum and sister he was frequently remembered and talked about and missed by them. I would like to take this opportunity to send a poppy in remembrance of a great uncle.

  • I lay a Poppy in memoriam of a brave soldier and uncle who served and died far from home. William was the son of my grand-father's sister, my aunt Charity Melinda Seed (nee Martyn), and proudly carried the MARTYN name with SEED. You will be honoured and remembered always. Rest In Peace … Ian D. Martyn
