  • I am a descendant of Samuel Llewellyn Serpell. On Anzac Day 25th April 2017 I went to the Dawn Service at Auckland Museum. They had thousands of white crosses on the grassy hill. I stumbled across Samuel’s cross and someone had put a red poppy at the base of Samuel’s cross. I got excited knowing that a possible relative had just been there too. I also put a poppy at the cross. I would love to hear from that person or anyone else that is related to Samuel in some way. I’m so interested in family history. Lynette Serpell who posted a message below is my mother . Honouring Captain Samuel Llewellyn Serpell’s life and sacrifice.

  • I am descended from William Serpell who married Jane Pathcott in 1680 in St Dominic, Cornwall. Samuel Llewellyn Serpell is descended from the same line of Serpell's. I would love to hear from any relatives of Samuel.
