  • Sonny also served in the Indonesian Confrontation (Borneo) with the Gurr Battalion May65/Oct65 . Public - Roscoe - Researcher - 26 August 2021 - Nom Roll 63/65 Foster/Russell (Gurr Bn) Terendak, Malaysia.

    This comment above in Biographical information is not correct, as Sonny was in Papakura, NZ in July 1965 training with the NZSAS for deployment to Borneo in 1966. Above attached is a portrait photo taken in Papakura July 1965.
