  • Wife of Dr Owen L. Eaton they were married 7 December 1938. Owen was killed at the Kong Chuen Mission Compound on 10 April 1939.

    She met her second husband Walter W. Wendt during the war and they married in London.

    Graduated 1936 Bachelor Home Science, 1936.

    During WW2 she served as an US Army dietitian.

    Three siblings served in WW2: Alexander Howe Mandeno (29274); George Crawford Mandeno (1318) with NZ forces and their sister Mary Horne Eaton with the US Army. AWMM
