  • George Garrett Powell Weenink was born on 1st January 1907 in Greymouth, Westland. He was the youngest of eleven children born to Elizabeth and Harry Weenink. He died on December 11th 1999 peacefully at his home. He was a gentleman, a scholar. An uncle and great uncle who was greatly loved by all his family for his non judgemental attitudes and wonderful humour.
