  • She was briefly married to an American Marine, E.J. Diet, which ended in divorce. They had a daughter named Suzanne. They did not go to the USA after the war.

    She married Pat Bridger after the war. They had a daughter, Trudy.

    During the war Jean worked as staff officer for supplies in Air Headquarters.

    She watched her brother William Barrowman (6416) march up Lambton Quay, Wellington when he returned with the 2nd Echelon from Egypt.
