    Mr Alexander Cunningham Atchison, of Clevedon, has died. He was a member of an old Clevedon family and took part in many public organisations. He was also an elder of the Presbyterian Church. As a schoolboy Mr Atchison played in the first fifteen at King's College for three years. During the Second World War he served in the Divisional Cavalry, reaching the rank of major.
