      John Richardson Mitchell (1821-1910) married Julia Maher (1827-1916) on 28 Apr 1847. By Banns in Parramatta, St John's Parish County of Cumberland, NSW. NSW BDM Ref: Number 209 Vol 32C. Witnesses: W Maher & S Maher, both of Paramatta. Julia was born in Tipperary, Ireland. After their marriage John & Julia lived in NZ. They had eight children, all born in NZ.
