    Commander of the New Zealand Army Force in South-East Asia, 1964-1966. First flight into Vietnam was 29 June 1964 with advance party of NEWZAD and Lt Col WCT Foley to establish HQ V Force. He spent 8 days in Saigon and area with US and Vietnamese staff setting up logistic and support arrangements. AWMM
