  • Although you died when I was young Pop my lasting memory of you is sitting in your lounge chair and letting me pick a candy cane out of a bowl. As of got older I have learnt about your service to New Zealand during the second world and how you wherever you were, wether it be with the royal navy in the atlantic or shooting down kamikazes in the pacific with the royal New Zealand navy, you were loyal and brave. I will always be grateful for your service and will never forget you. RIP Great Grandad.
