      Possibly named on the Saffron Walden War Memorial

      Embarked Wellington, 5 June 1918; disembarked Liverpool, England, 31 July 1918, and marched in and posted to NZ Rifle Brigade Reserve, Brocton.
      Proceeded overseas to France, 25 September 1918; joined 1st Bn, in the field, 30 September 1918, and posted to B Company.
      Wounded in action, 8 October 1918 (gun shot wounds, multiple: left femur, thigh), admitted to 8th Field Ambulance, and transferred to 29th Casualty Clearing Station.
      Died of wounds, 8 October 1918.
