  • Frank Styles was the son of Amelia C. Clemens (formerly Styles) of 157 Victoria Parade, Melbourne, Victoria.

    Born in Australia.

    Embarked Dundin, 28 August 1916; disembarked Devonport, England, 24 October 1916; marched in to Reserve Group, Sling Camp, 25 October 1916.
    Proceeded overseas to France, 15 November 1916; joined 1st Bn, Auckland Infantry Regiment, in the field, 30 November 1916.
    Attached to 1st NZ Light Trench Mortar Battery, 16 March 1917.
    Reported missing, 7 June 1917.
    Now, 30 June 1917, reported 'Killed in action, 8 June 1917'.
