  • J H Swinton was married to Wikitoria Tangira and they had a daugther Miriama Swinton who is my grandmother.
    My grandmother married Piniera Pahuru They had a daughter Wikitoria who is my mother. John Henry's first grand child.

  • John Henry was the brother of my Grandmother Mary Swinton. He died long before I was born, but he was dearly loved and never forgotten, I remember my Grandmother and Aunts talking about him, and he was always part of my life. I don't have a picture of him, but he is in one of only a few marked graves at Chanuk Bair. He would have been at Raukokere with our Whanau on ANZAC Day 2016.
