  • In memory of my late father's uncle - Gifford Tait. Dad was born on the day Gifford was killed - 25 Nov 2017. Dad was named after him - Graham Gifford Tait. So many brave young men lost their lives. Let us hope it never happens again. Rest in Peace.

  • In Loving memory of my Great Uncle Gifford Tait a Shetland Islander who emigrated to New Zealand in 1913. He gave his life for all New Zealanders, his brother John Strachan Tait (Jack) was beside Gifford when he was killed in action on 25 November 1917 in Palestine. Giff was only 21.
