  • Andrew is still remembered. I was the first decendent to visit his grave at Trois Arbres cemetery. I took sand from Fitzroy Beach, a pebble and a red poppy from NZ Anzac Day. I remember my strong unemotional grandmother, his sister, weeping on Anzac Day. I wept as I walked around the cemetery. Can you believe his family left Scotland for a better life in NZ, only to have two sons die in WW 1. From this distance it was crazy. I have the last letter he ever wrote home to NZ. RIP.
