It is with regret that the death is recorded of another of Mr. W. G. Bremner's sons, Lance-corporal John Robertson Bremner having been killed in action on June 22. . Lance-corporal Bremner was engaged on the Waipare station when he enlisted with the Main Mounted Contingent. He was wounded on Gallipoli, where his brother, Trooper J. H. Bremner, who left at the same time, gave his life in the service of his country. Mr. Bremner. senr., also went to the Dardanelles with the Main Body, and received wounds that necessitated his being invalided home some months ago. Mr. Bremner, Mrs. Parris, and Miss Booth are at present in Wellington, where they went to farewell Gilbert Bremner, who left Gisborne as an n.c.o. for the 14th Reinforcements.
