  • We have reason to believe that George Thomas Wilfred Green 3/3494 was in the front of an ambulance car with PJ Trainor, who was driving, when they came under fire, and Peter perished. GTW Green was my grandfather. We particularly remember Peter Trainor today, as he did not return to New Zealand, and did not have children and grandchildren to remember him. Today is 22 April 2018, 100 years since Peter Trainor died.
