    Grandson of Major Cyprian Bridge who was in command of the 58th Regiment when it arrived in Northland in 1845.

    Four brothers Cyprian Everard (25/72), Hugh Decimus (24332), Lance (8/2255) and Lionel Septimus (25/46) Bridge served in WW1, two died in service. AWMM
