    Embarked Dunedin, 21 August 1916; disembarked Devonport, England, 24 October 1916; marched into Sling Camp, 25 October 1915.
    Marched out Sling Camp, and proceeded overseas to France, 15 November 1916; marched in NZ Base Depot, Etaples, 16 November 1916.
    Joined A Company, 4 Bn, 3rd New Zealand Rifle Brigade, in the field, 4 December 1916.
    Admitted to Northumbrian Casualty Clearing Station, 12 March 1917 (scabies); rejoined unit, 19 March 1917.
    Admitted to No 3 NZ Field Ambulance, 10 April 1917 (mumps); transferred to No 7 General Hospital, St Omer, 11 April 1917; rejoined unit, 22 May 1917.
    Admitted to No 3 NZ Field Ambulance, 24 June 1917 (scabies); transferred to No 50 Casualty Clearing Station, 25 June 1917; rejoined unit, 28 August 1917.
    Admitted to No 7 Australian Field Ambulance, 26 September 1917 (scabies); transferred to No 50 Casualty Clearing Station, 27 September 1917.
