  • My great grandfather was killed in the First World War after only a few weeks in action. He left a wife & 2x children.
He emigrated to NZ in the late 1890s from Liverpool in England.
He was born in Bachoup? in Lancashire.
Recently my cousin went to Mud Corner in Belgium where he is buried to find his grave. He is one of a few NZers who are buried there.
We have always honoured his memory & service .
