  • Hector, Edward Vazey and my great uncle Tom Kennaway grew up and went to Newton East school together. They signed up and sailed for Europe together, and sadly only Tom survived.

  • To dear Hector, always in my special thoughts of your young life being taken away to save our country at such an early age of 21 years. Your Aunt Annie Prince (my grandma) never missed a year of going to the cenotaph on Anzac Day.You were so special to her. I continue on in memory. With love & grateful thanks.
