  • Harold Brittan was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Francis H. Brittan, of Avonside, Christchurch, New Zealand.

    Two of his brothers, Edward Guise Brittan (7/495), and Henry Bertram Brittan (7/942) also died in World War 1. Edward and Henry were killed on the same day. A third brother, Francis Arthur Brittan (55413) also served. AWMM
